![]() I admit, it hasn't had the most traffic, but it HAS gotten a few posts here and there ( like yours :D ), which is pretty awesome. So that's exactly why I made this subreddit. There hasn't seemed to be any activity revolving the game on any forums since its initial release back in 2011. ![]() I asked the same question a couple months ago, unfortunately I couldn't find any place where fans of the game meet up, speak, share, and play together. Links to the articles are down below in order of being mentioned. Everyone has room to improve in this game. If you want tips on how to get better there is a guide up on this reddit you should look into. I think as the game is, the percentage of players it shows you've beaten is accurate. Most of what you see is the product of practice, those on the top are those who play hundreds if not thousands of games to be there. Back when I first started playing I could barely get thirty words, now at most times I get over one hundred. ![]() Currently I reach the top fifteen about 60-75% of the games I play. They also went in depth on their blog exactly how these algorithms work and explain why there's an assumption of so many cheaters among the players. The creators of Wordament stated in an interview they run anti-cheating algorithms on the game, and if they catch you, you're banned. Sure, there are great players on but they aren't entirely out of reach, their scores are still possible to obtain (as crazy as that sounds) and no one person takes the crown every game. Personally I don't see any real evidence of cheating as of right now. ![]()
